miniforms itinerario vol 2 collection

Among Italian historic buildings and creative leaders’ apartments, the new Itinerario V.02 collection was presented for the first time, supporting Miniforms idea of the domestic space: a place where iconic and suggestive elements always surprise.

In this occasion, Miniforms is contract-oriented, and focuses its reflections on the individual and his new way of interacting with the community. So, for example, this is how the new Marino sofa was born, Miniforms first modular bench system.

Let’s discover together other products of the new Miniforms Itinerario V.02 collection:

-Boterina armchair: A cloud with a backrest. Boterina, the smallest member of   the Botera family, is a more compact armchair that will prove agile even in less spacious settings.

-Briscola table: An ace in your kitchen. Drawing inspiration from the seventies,   Briscola is a noble revisitation of the bistro tables where card games were   played. It has the flavour of the Italian bars of yesteryear, amid coffee cups   and warm informality. The top is supported and framed by an ash-wood tray,   while the base, in black or galvanised metal, roots it firmly in the present.

-Botera sofa and pouf: All about comfort. To relax, nod off or just put your feet   up, all modules share a squishy seat in different lengths, forming a sofa, a pouf  or an armchair.  These eclectic modules are conceived for spaces that change. From the exuberance of the sofa to the casual ease of the pouf, these modules expand into their space in long compositions or contract to fill cosy nooks.

-Milonga bookshelf: Straight up and down. Milonga is a bookcase with long legs, set with a delicate cadence between spaces. Either as a partition between rooms or, more traditionally, against a wall, this is an indispensable piece for organizing your home library. As well as being technical, Milonga is bold and distinctive, and plays on the colours of the tubes and the layout of the shelves. Indeed, it is the sequence of the shelves that gives the bookcase its sense of movement, echoing the rhythm of the lines printed in the exercise books of our childhood.

-Soda coffee table: Blown away. Soda was born upside-down, with a puff of air. It weighs 20 kilos, and it is blown, drawn out and shaped by three master glassmakers. The result is a single volume of glass with three large petals forming the stem. In Soda, the glass vibrates: its tough, hammered surface fragments its transparency to give a primitive aesthetic. This is artistic value granted to an industrial product.

-Furoshiki pouf: Wrapped with care. Furoshiki is an interplay of patterns and colours. The fabric upholstery covers the padded seat with precise geometries and an unequivocally oriental delicacy. The seams become sartorial details, dividing the item into precise segments. The weave and colours of the fabrics meet and greet one another, then continue in opposite directions.

-Ozz lamp: Illuminating a story. Ozz is made of light and stone. It shifts from shy domesticity to become central to the home, proving itself a key figure, with its large, look-at-me arc. The design starts in the concrete and end in the lampshade. Between the two, the shaft curves in a dramatic trajectory until the point where the light bites the bait.
